Lily Kwong (Los Angeles) works at the intersection of horticulture, urban design, contemporary art, fashion and wellness–focusing on reconnecting people to nature through transformative landscape projects and botanical art installations. In 2023, she designed and installed The Orchid Show at the New York Botanical Garden, receiving rave reviews for her reinvention of the notion of a garden. At Expo Chicago, ATLT presented MOTHERFIRE, a evocation of a regenerating forest, her proposal for a solution to the wildfires plaguing California.

EARTH, 2023, is inspired by Kwong’s contribution to Restoration: NOW or Never, ATLT’s outdoor exhibition addressing climate change, that took place across London in 2021.
