Political issues interweave with the trivial matters of our daily life. We continue to do laundry, prepare dinner and get stuck in traffic jams after a critical political event. . We carry on with our daily life but the atmosphere and rhythm change. I try to depict these subtle changes through my drawing and stop-motion animation.
Return
It is about a journey going home. I walked across the yellow line and stepped out of the West Kowloon station. I was wet through due to the muggy and hot weather. The nightscape of Hong Kong outside the bus window was fascinating even in an industrial area. Different news came from my phone. The colour of yellow was very vivid in the dark and the voice from the crowd was so loud. Afterwards, I looked at the nightscape again. Lots of people have returned home.
